Now that Mora is up and running, I have time to write again. One sentence in and it already feels good, like a hot, hot shower.
Just returned from the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG!) conference in Phoenix, Arizona. For the first time, I wasn’t representing Lark Books.
I didn’t have to be on the prowl for book ideas and authors. On the contrary, I felt completely relaxed, more engaged with the community, and able to fully enjoy the speakers.
My takeaway was more questions than answers. Always a good thing. I fell in love with cacti and rediscovered rice cakes, but never got to float on the resort’s much touted “lazy river.” Such is life … a reason to return.
